अमिटी यूनिवर्सिटी में 'संगठन-2026' का उद्घाटन, 18 खेलों में हिस्सा लेंगे छात्र
एक महीने तक चलने वाले इस 27वें इंटर अमिटी स्पोर्ट्स मीट का समापन संस्थापक दिवस पर होगा, जिसमें भारत और विदेश के कैंपस हिस्सा ले रहे हैं।
अमिटी यूनिवर्सिटी नोएडा कैंपस की सीढ़ियों पर नीले झंडों के साथ फैकल्टी और छात्र समूह।
नोएडा स्थित अमिटी यूनिवर्सिटी उत्तर प्रदेश कैंपस में “Sangathan-2026” 27वें इंटर अमिटी इंस्टीट्यूशंस स्पोर्ट्स मीट का उत्साह के साथ उद्घाटन हुआ। Sangathan-2026 के दौरान भारत और विदेश स्थित अमिटी कैंपस के छात्र करीब 18 खेलों में हिस्सा लेंगे। इनमें हॉकी, फुटबॉल, क्रिकेट, टेनिस, बैडमिंटन, बास्केटबॉल, वॉलीबॉल, खो-खो, बैडमिंटन, टेबल टेनिस, शतरंज, तैराकी, योग और कराटे सहित अन्य खेल शामिल हैं।
एक महीने तक चलने वाले इस आयोजन का समापन Founder’s Day के आयोजन के साथ होगा, जो Amity Education Group के Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan के जन्मदिन के उपलक्ष्य में मनाया जाता है।
उद्घाटन समारोह की शुरुआत “Sangathan Mashaal” प्रज्वलित करने के साथ हुई। सभी अमिटी कैंपस में एक साथ मशाल जलाई गई। इसके बाद Prof (Dr.) Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Noida ने Mashaal Relay को रवाना किया। मशाल को Amity International School Noida, Amity University Greater Noida Campus से होते हुए वापस Amity Noida Campus लाया गया।
इसके साथ ही Sangathan Flag को Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor Amity University, Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor Amity University, Mr. Abhay Chauhan, Senior Vice President-RBEF और Mr. Amol Chauhan, Executive Director – Strategic Operations(FPO) ने फहराया। समारोह में विभिन्न टीमों के कप्तानों और ध्वजवाहकों ने March Past किया। पिछले वर्ष विजेता टीम के Sports Captain ने सभी प्रतिभागियों की ओर से शपथ भी दिलाई।
छात्रों को प्रोत्साहित करते हुए Dr. Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, Amity University ने कहा, “Sangathan is the most cherished event at Amity which inculcates the spirit of friendship, unity, sportsmanship, camaraderie, discipline, dedication and hard work amongst the students.”
उन्होंने कहा, “Nothing is more important for us than students’ success and happiness and Amity is the only University in the world which has introduced a unique initiative, “Amity Boundless”, under which students can choose from over 100 minor courses across more than 80 disciplines.” उन्होंने बताया कि Amity में अत्याधुनिक सुविधाओं से युक्त नया Student Center बनाया जा रहा है, जो वर्ष के अंत तक छात्रों के लिए तैयार हो जाएगा।
Mr. Abhay Chauhan, Senior Vice President-RBEF ने छात्रों का उत्साह बढ़ाते हुए कहा, “Every student has the potential to become a change-maker, and create a meaningful impact on the society. Sports play a vital role in developing this potential by nurturing qualities such as grit, perseverance, discipline and teamwork. They instil passion, courage and a never-give-up attitude, enabling students to face challenges with confidence, resilience and determination.”
उन्होंने कहा, “The lessons learnt on the field go far beyond sports and help young individuals become stronger, more responsible and capable of overcoming obstacles in both their personal and professional lives.”
प्रतिभागियों को संबोधित करते हुए Mr. Amol Chauhan, Executive Director – Strategic Operations (FPO) ने कहा, “Sports teaches the students what they do not learn in classrooms, including leadership, courage, passion, determination, hard work, strategy and resilience. It makes them strong mentally and physically and prepares them for challenges. No work is too small, and sportsmen must be willing to do the smallest work which is in the interest of their team.”
उन्होंने कहा, “The team is always bigger than the player and one must always bear in mind that they are playing for their team. Leadership is a service and sports persons should serve their team in every possible way.”
Sangathan के महत्व पर जोर देते हुए Dr. Balvinder Shukla, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Uttar Pradesh ने कहा, “Sangathan is the most widely recognized event, which is remembered by our Alumni, across the world. The vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 can only be fulfilled if the youth of the country is physically fit and healthy so that they can represent their country in various sports tournaments at national and international level.”
वहीं, Dr. Sanjeev Bansal, Additional Pro Vice Chancellor- AUUP & Chairman-Sangathan-2026 ने कहा, “Sports develops the qualities of patience, resilience, team spirit and hard work. Sangathan, is one of the most important events for the holistic development of the students which provides them with an opportunity to develop their skills and abilities.”
Sangathan-2026 के उद्घाटन समारोह का समापन Amity School of Engineering & Technology और Amity Institute of Biotechnology के बीच हुए मैत्रीपूर्ण Table Tennis Match के साथ हुआ। इस अवसर पर Amity के HOIs, Deans, HODs, faculty, staff और students भी मौजूद रहे।
